From our tests in Denmark of the new PilotOne MEGA boards in size:

  • “35” board (35 x 30,5 cm) and the
  • “A3” board (42 x 30 cm),

we have tried to make our conclusion, which we hereby share with our customers:

  •  “35” board together with “30” board in standard material and “30 FCB” in Full Carbon will be the bestsellers for MTBO from Autopilot
  • “A3” boards are very big, but fine for those, who have wide bars and are using big maps
  • “A3” board will not replace 30×30 or 35×30 cm boards, but can be used as a supplementary board
  • “A3” boards and “35” boards will be supplement to the “30” standard offer – (as PilotOne SPRINT boards) – 
  • “A3” board is not universal and can be used as board no 2 or board no 3
  • and we recommend that you use at least 2 bases, 1 for your standard board and 1 for your supplementary board, so you easily can shift base and board !!!.
  •  Bigger boards will require PilotOne TB or AB bases – needs to be high and/or a bit away from legs/knees
  • No Carbon  – “35” as well as “A3” board would, from the producer’s point of view,  be too heavy – so, so far only “30” boards will be produced in Full Carbon (FCB)
  • “35” is produced in 2 lines, 1 model for PilotOne bases, 1 model for Miry and Orifix bases (bigger reinforcement)
  • “A3” is universal for PilotOne, Miry and Orifix bases
